Hello! We’re Sophia and Ian, the new heart and hands behind Open Door Escape Games. We’re a, soon to be, husband-and-wife duo with excitement to continue creating fun and immersive escape games that bring people together. I (Ian) have worked here for 4 years, enjoying every day that I can help build an amazing experience for our guests. Whether that meant putting up drywall for our Christmas game, or hosting games for our awesome customers! My beautiful fiancé Sophia is in charge of coming up with our new ideas for the company while I strive to make her artistic view a reality.

Working here for so long before being offered to buy Open Door I grew to love escape rooms and the experience it brings people, and with Sophia fully supportive from the jump, we were/are/will be SO excited to continue providing the fun, and exciting experiences for our guests! We are also super excited to be apart of and support our local business and community here in Redlands.

I have grown to love escape rooms during my time at Open Door and sharing that with Sophia has been so much fun. Now although we love winning, puzzle-solving, and the laughs that come with playing an escape room, our biggest joy is seeing the effort and love that many of these family owned businesses put into their craft. We hope that we can show that same amount of effort and love in our escape rooms!

Our goal is not much different from the previous owners here at Open Door. Angela and Matt put so much heart into this company and we hope that, moving forward, we can still create family-friendly experiences that make you feel excited and accomplished. We can’t wait for you to play and discover how essential you are to, not only, your team’s success, but to ours as well!
